On 26 May 2026, the SURFAV consortium held its first official project meeting to review the status of the project and coordinate the activities planned for the initial reporting period. Representatives from all partner organisations participated in the online meeting, discussing both administrative requirements and the technical roadmap for the coming months.
The partners agreed on a series of actions related to project communication, reporting and technical coordination. In addition, preparations began for a technical workshop scheduled for July, where each organisation will present its expertise, facilities and potential contributions to the development of hybrid manufacturing processes, surface treatments and industrial demonstrators within the SURFAV project.
